West Harbour Wines & Spirits has always been recognised as the key Wine, Beer and Spirits destination of those lucky enough to reside within the areas which border Waitakere and North Shore Cities.  A fire in early January 2008 completely gutted the store to such an extent that a total rebuild was required. The fact that customers and staff were so devastated by the tragedy is testament to the iconic nature of the store within the local community.

Bigger & better

Rebuilding the new store has allowed the opportunity to further improve the overall shopping environment for our many valued customers. A much greater focus has gone towards providing a more open, spacious and brighter shopping experience; the objective being to produce a more female friendly shopping location that all customers can enjoy browsing in. Customers will immediately notice the emphasis on the wide range of merchandise with particular pride being taken in the extensive range of wines available. 
 

Customer Focused  

Hand in hand with superior ranging is a strong emphasis on friendly, professional and informative service interaction with customers. First class customer service is what the store is about and all staff continually train in this important area - they are also up-skilled in the wine and spirit categories on a regular basis. The superior design and layout of the store naturally lends itself towards wine tastings and product knowledge sessions conducted by our key suppliers. These sessions will be regular weekly features in the store so that customers leave better informed and more confident in their purchase decisions.
